Abstract

Education informatization is the common trend of education reform and development in all countries in the world now. Application-oriented university is an important part of higher education system in China. It is an important measure to evaluate the degree of educational informatization construction in application-oriented colleges and universities to grasp the present situation of education informatization in China and improve the education informatization level. This study was based on the literature to form the basic indicators, combined with the actual situation of universities to determine the indicators at all levels of dimensions. Fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) was used to determine the weight of each index. Fuzzy synthetic evaluation method (FSEM) was used to construct an evaluation model for the degree of education informatization construction in applied colleges and universities in China. A medical college in Shanxi Province is taken as an example to make an empirical study on the development of education informatization. The research shows that there is a weak advantage in information construction and the highest score in human resources, indicating that the college has paid more attention to the introduction of talents in an all-round way in recent years, and the school is making great strides toward an application-oriented research university in terms of scientific research information resources, but at the same time there are delays in information disclosure. Therefore, it is feasible and effective to use mathematical modeling to evaluate the degree of education informatization in application-oriented colleges and universities, which is helpful to promote the implementation of new infrastructure and the further deepening of education informatization construction in colleges and universities.
