Abstract

A new artificial intelligence technology called ChatGPT was born, which has aroused extensive discussion because of its powerful and diverse functions. Artificial intelligence technology has been used in medicine for decades, and the emergence of ChatGPT may bring new changes to medical education. In this paper, the basic functions and applications of ChatGPT and the possible changes in medical education are described, at the same time, the controversial status of new technology is discussed.
