This article presents exploratory research on the construction of an ideological and political case resource database centered on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) culture in vocational education. The aim is to systematically integrate excellent traditional TCM culture into the ideological and political teaching of the TCM pharmacology course. To this end, a three-in-one case database combining "specialty, ideology and politics, and culture" was constructed for the course, including more than 100 representative cases. Preliminary teaching practice demonstrates that the use of this resource database not only enhances students' mastery of professional knowledge but also strengthens their sense of identity and mission toward TCM culture. By leveraging the course-based ideological and political case resource database to transform traditional TCM culture into a spiritual driving force that students internalize in their minds and externalize in their actions, this approach serves as an effective way to implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education. Furthermore, it provides a replicable practical paradigm for ideological and political course construction in similar vocational colleges.
