This paper summarized the construction of pharmaceutical English textbooks in recent years, combined with the pain points existing in the current teaching of pharmaceutical English, and analyzed the characteristics of English for medical purposes (EMP), English for medical humanities (EMH) and case-based study (CBS), and put forward ideas of textbook construction based on the integration of "EMP-EMH-CBS". The paper also proposed a specific construction plan from the aspects of strengthening theoretical research and guidance, arranging textbook contents at different levels, digging into medical humanities and ideological and political elements, and building resource chain, in order to provide a reference for constructing a multi-level and three-dimensional professional English textbook system for medical majors.
