Application of DingTalk platform combined with Nursing Assistant APP in hierarchical training of neonatal nurses

Abstract

Objective  To explore the practical application effect of DingTalk platform combined with Nursing Assistant APP in hierarchical training of neonatal nurses.

Methods  The neonatal nurses of Fujian Maternal and Child Healthcare Hospital who participated in the hierarchical training from January to November 2022 were selected as the study subjects, the nurses who learned by traditional offline centralized teaching mode in the classroom from January to February were the control group, and the nurses who learned through the DingTalk platform and Nursing Assistant APP from March to November were the experimental group. The efficiency and effect of the training of the nurses in the two groups, as well as the satisfaction of nurses with the on-the-job training were compared.

Results  A total of 102 nurses participated in the training. The class participation rate of nurses in the control group was 53.9%, the class participation rate of nurses in the experimental group was 81.4%, and the difference between two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05); the results of the three basic theory examination of neonatal nurses, the specialty theory examination, and the training of nursing skills operation were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05); the satisfaction evaluation of nurses in the experimental group with the training methods, training process and assessment management was significantly higher than that in the control group (73.50% vs. 50.00%, P<0.05).

Conclusion  The use of DingTalk platform and Nursing Assistant APP for training management can improve the efficiency of hierarchical training, training effect and satisfaction for nurses in the neonatal department.
