Abstract

The construction of curriculum ideological and political education is a crucial foundation for implementing the comprehensive educational philosophy in the new era. Within the talent cultivation process of medical universities, linear algebra holds significant importance in nurturing interdisciplinary and compound medical professionals. However, due to the characteristics of the linear algebra course, there are problems such as insufficient integration and insignificant effects in its ideological and political construction. Taking the linear algebra course at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine as an example, this paper summarizes a series of ideological and political methods and elements oriented by interdisciplinarity, organically combining knowledge teaching, ideological and political education, and the unique characteristics of university majors, aiming to provide a reference for the ideological and political construction of linear algebra courses in medical universities.
