Abstract

Peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) is one of the commonly used methods for establishing venous access in clinical practice, and the PICC fracture in patients is a very serious complication. Digital subtraction angiography (DSA) is a commonly used method for diagnosing and treating vascular diseases. In this paper, a case of successful removal of a broken PICC catheter in a diabetes patient under the guidance of DSA was reported, in order to provide a reference for the diagnosis and treatment of similar cases in clinic.
