Abstract

Medical advanced mathematics is a public basic course of medical higher education. Through the study and application of basic mathematics knowledge, students can improve their scientific research and innovation ability. Taking the medical advanced mathematics course in the Jieping class of Capital Medical University as an example, the teaching reform of "theoretical teaching + self-directed learning" was implemented. Adjustments have been made to the teaching content of medical advanced mathematics courses, and the teaching content has been reasonably divided into the self-directed learning part and the theoretical teaching part. Teaching reform research has been carried out in five aspects: construction of the teaching resource, guidance on self-directed learning methods, design of theoretical teaching course, comprehensive tutoring and Q&A, and extended problem design, in order to explore a new teaching model for medical advanced mathematics, and provide useful references for building a talent training system of cultivating high-end composite talents, and lay the foundation for the subsequent promotion of teaching models.
