Abstract

Chronic wound is a worldwide medical problem, which has a high incidence and high complication rate, affecting the body and spirit of millions of people around the world to varying degrees. At present, there is no standard and unified treatment method, and medical institutions at all levels in China have a lack of understanding of the effects and costs of various treatment methods for chronic wounds. This article gives an overview of the general treatment methods, auxiliary treatment methods, new treatment methods, and traditional Chinese medicine treatment methods for chronic wounds, hoping to provide reference for frontline clinicians in the treatment of chronic wounds.
